How to install made-to-order fairings: inspect within 72 hours, test-fit before tightening, what to photograph if anything arrives damaged, and when to contact us.
Inspect within 72 hours
When your kit arrives, inspect it within 72 hours and report any damage, defect, or incorrect part within 30 days of receipt. Email sales@apexfairings.com promptly with your order number, photos of the box including the shipping label, and clear photos of each issue in natural sunlight as PNG or JPG files.
Do not install damaged parts
If anything looks wrong, do not install, modify, or return the kit before we provide instructions. List every part that needs replacing and circle the affected areas in your photos where possible. Confirmed damaged, defective, or incorrect kits get a full replacement kit.
Test-fit before final tightening
Kits are pre-drilled for factory mounting points. Offer each panel up loosely first, check tabs and bolt holes line up with your stock mounts, then tighten in sequence. Keep your stock hardware organized per panel so nothing gets forced — forced tabs are how panels crack.
After the install
Recheck fasteners after your first ride, especially around the front fairing and belly pan. Keep your order number and tracking details until the return window closes: unopened kits may be returned within 30 days of receipt minus the applicable restocking fee ($250 standard, $350 custom).

Tracking details are issued within 24–72 hours of shipment; email us if nothing arrives after 72 hours.
Can I return a kit I changed my mind about?
Unopened kits only, within 30 days of receipt, minus the restocking fee. Opened or fitted kits are not refundable.
